The educational programs of the UC San Diego Division of Rheumatology involve teaching activities in the medical school, graduate school, and internal medicine residency program. Our highly regarded subspecialty training programs in rheumatology are designed to produce outstanding physicians and scientists that treat patients and develop new treatments to improve the health of our community.
Rheumatology Fellowship Program
We offer 3 different Training Tracks, a 2-year ACGME-accredited training cycle for ABIM board eligibility is done by all trainees.
Grand Rounds
The conferences are currently held in a virtual format (zoom) on Fridays between 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
Core Curriculum
This is a fellows' conference at which expert faculty provides didactic teaching often followed by case discussions and hands-on training.
